Shortpass Filter
In order to meet the needs of sensor chips such as CCD or CMOS, to allow the maximum penetration of visible light, cut off or reflect in the anti-infrared zone, or allow any wavelength band to be transmitted or cut off, to ensure that there is a very good flatness in the short wave zone And high transmission is more difficult than long-pass filter. Especially in the field of ultraviolet light source, it is not particularly easy to realize products that let the purple light pass through as much as possible, and let the visible light and near-infrared reflect or cut off.
Application: UV light source, mobile phone camera, laser protection, heat reflection lighting system, fluorescent ink laser imaging.

The shortpass filter of the dielectric film has the same characteristics as the longpass filter. When the incident angle increases, the start wavelength and cut-off wavelength of these filters will shift to the short wave. Generally speaking, when the incident angle changes from 0° to 45°, the center wavelength will shift to the shorter by about 10%. This feature can be applied to applications that need to fine-tune the start or cut-off wavelength.
