Homogeneous Hexagonal Light Guide Rod
The homogeneous hexagonal light guide rod adopts the principle of internal total reflection to replace the non-uniform light source with a uniform light source, regardless of its spectral characteristics. Compared with the square structure of the light pipe, the hexagonal structure of the light pipe can reduce the light loss by 35%. A light source with a small numerical aperture (NA) value requires a longer light pipe to homogenize the light, while a light source with a large numerical aperture value can use a shorter light pipe to meet the requirements. It is made of precision N-BK7, which is widely used in the visible light band.
